The daughter of Sir Thomas Wilson MP; she married Spencer Perceval in 1790 and had a family of six sons and six daughters. In 1815 she married Lieutenant-col. Sir Henry Carr. Charles Macfarlane described her as “a most benevolent, tender-hearted, charitable person, an exemplary woman in all essentials and in every respect.”
