George Wyndham, first baron Leconfield (1787-1869)
Son of the third earl of Egremont; he was aide-de-camp to Sir Eyre Coote in Jamaica in
1805, survived the Walcheran Expedition in 1809, and fought in the Peninsular War; he was
raised to the peerage in 1859.
