The romantic era is particularly rich in biographical materials in a wide variety of forms: journalistic puffs and sneers, obituaries, published correspondence, and memoirs. These are often replete with criticism and anecdotes yielding valuable insights into who was saying and doing what to whom—and why. Lord Byron and his Times is building a cross-searchable archive of this material, using it as a source of names, titles, and relationships recorded in the data files.
